What This Training Is About

The course will focus on the A, B, C, D, and E’s of Fall Protection:

Anchorage – How to properly choose, install, and position anchorage points to reduce fall risk.
Body Harness – Selecting the right harness and learning correct inspection and fit to maximize safety and comfort.
Connecting Devices – Understanding the difference between lanyards and self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), and how to choose based on your work environment.
Descent/Rescue – How to respond after a fall, including suspension trauma prevention using trauma straps or Werner’s “Chair in the Air,” and the importance of having a rescue plan in place.
Education – Why proper training and planning are essential to prevent injury or death on the job.
