Due to the roof design and weight capacity of the Ford Transit Fullsize Vans (Roof rated for 420 lbs. per Ford Motor Company), it is not recommended that lengths of ladders and/or material exceed the length of the rack by more than 2’ on either side.

Example:
The Topper Rack for the 130” WB Transit is 10’ long. The longest extension ladder we recommend is 28.’ The ladder is 14’ when closed. The Topper Rack for the 148” WB Transit is 12’ long. The longest extension ladder we recommend is 32.’ The ladder is 16’ when closed. The Topper Rack for the 148” WB Ext. Transit is 14’ long. The longest extension ladder we recommend is 36.’ The ladder is 18’ when closed.
